Why Should You Begin your Interview Prep In Advance?

The first thing I recommend that anyone do when they are preparing for interviews is to begin their preparations as soon as possible. Developing your interviewing skills is too valuable to delay until later in your career. The quicker you can develop this skill, the faster you can grow in your career.

Many people make the mistake of waiting to prepare for their interviews until they land an actual interview. This usually leaves you with little to no time to prepare for interviews effectively. For many, this leads to unnecessary overwhelm, worry, and anxiety.

It is important to keep the stress and anxiety away when you are learning important skills because feeling overwhelmed and anxious can interfere with and slow down skill development. Avoiding unnecessary worry and anxiety is especially important when developing highly valuable skills such as interviewing skills.

The best solution for this issue is to start your interview prep as soon as possible, instead of spending time worrying and being stressed.

To motivate myself to start prepping for interviews, I remind myself the benefits of developing interview skills.

Essentially, your interview skills can determine your livelihood and how much income you earn in your career. Therefore, it is not a skill you want to delay developing. Take every opportunity to study this guide and do interviews. 

Being good at interviews takes willingness and time. This guide gives a set of useful tactics that you can implement to develop your interview skill to land any role you want. You don't need to do everything in this book right away. Do a quick skim through first. Start with the ones that catch your eye. Systematically apply the rest until you get the results you desire. 

Relax, begin early, and don't rush it.
